This beautiful painting is an original oil on canvas. A decorative view of a shepherd with his flock of sheep. The strikingly romantic scene is made during a winter day in a wooded landscape.The artwork was painted in the 19th century early 20th century. The artist signs it in the lower right-hand corner. The painting is in good condition. There have been about 2 minor restorations. These are practically not visible. The previous owner had the canvas mounted on a fiberboard. It comes in a nice heavy frame. In some photos, the frame appears to be 2 colors. This is not the case at all. Unfortunately the result of incorrect lighting….
